What Is Amazon PPC?

In Short, Amazon PPC stands for Pay Per Click – This is the method in which most sellers prefer to get instant traffic on Amazon. Sellers pay a fee each time one of their ads is clicked. Pretty much, it’s how to buying visits to your product, rather than attempting to “rank” those keywords organically. If you are familiar with other types of PPC, the Amazon Algorithm is quite a bit different, and setting up campaigns in the beginning can be a little tricky.

Sponsored Product advertising is one of the most popular forms of PPC. It lets sellers bid for ad placement in a amazons search engine’s sponsored links when someone searches on a keyword that is related to their product. For example, if we bid on the keyword “Salt Shaker” our product ad would show up for those keywords, whether we sold a salt shaker or not*.
